I would love to join in on this hatch a long but sadly I am going away for Easter. But I will be sure to check on here to see all the cute Easter babes.

Since my ducks are still only laying in water I'll be hatching Kiki quail and/or chickens. Don't think swimming duck eggs would hatch.

Lol That's just insane that they are laying their eggs in water. Good luck with the rest though

They are young, just starting to lay. I've heard it is not uncommon and that eventually they will figure it out. They just spent some time over on the bank where I found the others. I'm going to go peek and see if they left any more! I don't know how long those others were there as i wasn't looking IN the pond before. Now I will and hopefully I can catch them quickly.

It's too early to set for the HAL so I'm just going to keep doing the easter egg hunt between now and when it is time to set then I'll set whatever I have, even if they were swimmers. You never know.

I am in! I want to hatch chicken eggs from my rooster this year! I hope to have a broody by then, if not, I will set them in an incubator for the Hatch-A-Long. So excited!
