True Blue Whiting info please?

My plan is to cross the whiting with the aruacana. Going to focus on getting the eggs as blue as possible

Me too! Will be crossing Whiting True Blues, Super Blue Egg Layers by MPC, True Lavender Ameraucanas, AND True Araucanas. Was considering CLB, but many times their eggs have hints of green or just plain green.

My Lavender Ameraucana eggs are a nice blue. Hopefully 1/2 will hatch -- have 16 in the bator.

all the information I've been able to find says to stay away from any breed that EVER had brown egg layer in it's make up.

Oh, p.s.s. - after we all have mastered getting some very blue egg layers, how about violet being on our next to-do list ?

ooooooo, yes on the ruby red! I think we're onto something. Let's breed a ruby red layer with a blue egg layer, and viola! We get our violet egg layer! Hee hee

I am interested in this breed and wondering if any of you have had them long enough to be able to judge their personalities. I am not knocking Leghorns at all, but have read and been told by owners that they can be very mean, to the point of cannibalistic.
