Ventilation on small coop?

I see. Well hopefully someone can come up with some other ideas, because right now I'm only seeing the area under the stairs to open up, and with the benefit of a mild climate I'd love to see more space open, but I'm just not seeing where else I could add vents.

I’d add one same side and length as nesting boxes hardware cloth and possibly above their little door a small square would be fine. But two window/vents would be better if possible

both of these would be possible I think. putting it under the stairs would be easiest.
could I do both or would it cause drafts?

I think depends on your area are you warm climate or cold

like I said earlier, it is mild never gets below 40 degrees Fahrenheit never higher than 80

Sounds nice I’m in northern ca with a 6x6x6 coop with ventilation on two opposite walls at the rafters and another larger triangle vent above the walk in door and still thinking of adding a small window I use sand as flooring and causes a lot of dust so more vents the better here

I guess if you’re worried about drafts you could add a shudder maybe using the pieces you cut out hinges and a latch

Attach your hardware cloth to the inside that way the piece fits right bcc where it came out of
