Just wondering what your girls (and guys) got for their treat today?


My 3 girls got left over cooked oats w/ maple syrup, mixed in with 1/2 and avocado, and 2 boiled eggs mashed in with the shell. There was some serious grab-n-gulp going on!

I thought avocado was dangerous for chickens???? My flock got a few cornbugs today as a treat....hope that is ok for them.

Snails. We have alot of them around. My babies are only 6 weeks old and not free ranging yet. They go nuts when I bring them a handful of snails. Bleck. I must love them (slimy snails, not chicks) because I totally avoided touching them in the past.
