Hot peppers!!! Didn't realized all my sweet peppers, 12 plants total turned out to be all hot

. Family of five, 3 small kids and wife hates spicy hot stuff, am the only one eating gazillion peppers so chickens come on join me.

Ive had a chicken do that, & she would crack & eat the eggs, we ended up getting rid of her.

Finally bought them a flock block, just to see if they liked it. WOW, don't get between them and the flock block!

Now I know! They even ignored the watermelon I gave them the next day , there was still over half the flock block left. Think we will use the flock block for when we know we will be out of town for a couple of days, or there's bad weather coming and we traditionally would have had trouble going out to the coop.

Pretty hot day today so when I was at the grocery store I picked up some frozen peas for everybody. Also jalapenos, but that's tomorrow's treat.

Watermelon that was in the fridge a little too long. 15 chickens gobbled it up in seconds. The muscovies won't touch it. This morning it's kale that's starting to get a little wimpy and leftover chicken and biscuits that no one will finish.
