Is it ok to give potato peels to chickens?

White potato as a whole should generally be avoided, but if given in moderation the 'white' part likely won't cause much harm, especially if cooked... The skin on the other hand is the most dangerous part, especially the 'green' part of the peel on the inside and this should be fully avoided...

Left over Mashed potatoes, it was a hit as well as apple peels from making apple pie.

Peas, cooked spaghetti, shredded chicken, apple, pumpkin, and green beans, rice


We just keep a plastic container in the icebox and toss acceptable scraps in. They get snack from that on days they can't free range.
