What treat did your chickies get today?

I hurriedly gave my hens a can of corn this morning, as well as some leftover spinach leaves.

My chicks, in their brooder, got plain greek yogurt.

My oldest gave our chicks a worm yesterday. They took a minute to figure out what it was, but once they did they went crazy!

Shaved carrots, Loquat fruits, and their usual layers feed. I once fed them some frog legs and it seems to be their favorite among corn and beef!

Today mine got kale, scrambled eggs, cooked macaroni, peas, corn, lentil sprouts, a little cantaloupe, topped off with mealworms. A giant tossed salad! They r almost 6 weeks old, so everything is chopped pretty finely for them.

My chicks are 8 weeks old. They just got a taste of cabbage and apples for the first time. Hopefully, the weather holds up. I really want to take them outside.

Every time I give mine anything other than layer feed and a very small amount of scratch I find very runny poop from at least two(out of seven) the next morning. I've tried oatmeal, lettuce, cabbage, apple, tomatoes, cantaloupe, watermelon, spaghetti and other treats I've read about. Free range isn't an issue. I have RIR and BO 10 months old. Does anyone have any ideas why this happens?
