What treat did your chickies get today?

Yesterday mine got some macaroni and this morning it was a plate of warm grits. They love them both.

Today I was greeted as usual by hungry chickens when I got home from work. Instead of bringing a treat home from work I went into the house and they started fussing big time until I came out with toasted blueberry waffles. They looked at me like I was stupid again but once I went to get them fresh water and came back they had ate them all and were looking for more! They also got some mealworms again, I just threw them out among the scratch feed and had them search for them. It is alway great watching them find a treat and then take off running!

gave them some scratch and some tuna, they ate the tuna like wild beasts

Tuna??? Hmmm.... didn't think of that, I've got some tuna steaks I was planning on cooking later this week I may cook extra to bring to them.

Even thow my birds are free range they love fresh cut grass ,so i dumped 400 pounds in the feeding area that i collected with my cyclone rake.
