Aart's Hoop Coop / Chicken Tractor

Thanks for sharing! I am new to chickens. I am wanting to build a permanent hoop coop from cattle panels and this has given me lots of ideas and inspiration that it can be done. I really like the door and that you covered with hardware cloth.
What impresses me most is how well the hardware cloth & folding skirt are attached to this hoop coop on wheels ! Such crisp clean lines! You tamed that hardware cloth like a pro!
Excellent instructions. Esthetically pleasing, finished product!
Nicely written and illustrated. Excellence in detailing a practical and effective solution to the tractor predator apron dilemma.
This coop is everything! The attention to detail on the building AND in sharing this article is top notch

The coop looks nice and neat and I like that; like it will last for years. I am going to show it to my coop builder who has been laboring on for weeks.

Gonna go back and enjoy some of the photos now. 😊
Love the instructions on how to bend and hold. Great article.

I'm considering something like this in the event I get an Asil pair. Initially I had a fixed coop and run in mind but this article has made me think on.

Thanks aart for taking the planning and design steps out of my future tractor build as I'll be wanting one for my first flock of meat birds next year. This looks like just the ticket.
