Aberdeen NC, Elementary Hoop Coop

I used to see this coop every day on my commute. It lasted until they closed this school down to build a new building and, to a commuter's eye at least, it stood up well to use and weather.

Excellent build photos and explanation of the process of working with pallet wood. I think that a competent handyman could easily duplicate it.

The only thing lacking was photos of the interior layout and actual plans, but I have to give it 5 stars for ventilation, suitability for the intended climate and location, and for my personal knowledge that it stood up well to a climate that is fairly brutal on wood.

Good job here showing the kids how to reuse material. Nice looking coop and run. Would like to see pics of the inside and how it is laid out.: water, food, roosts, nests, etc.

I blueprint or sketch of your building would be helpful, however you do give many details in your test. That, along with the pictures, are very helpful. I link that you included the link for the hoop run.

I hope the kids enjoy their chickens at school!
