[FONT=trebuchet ms,geneva]OK.... so based on some ideas I found here I made a new waterer. I tried to find the nipples but none of the lifestock feed stores around here stock them. So for now, this at least eliminates my refilling the one gallon waterer constantly. And it stays much cleaner. You will notice the water is pink.... since they are attracted to red and the waterer had no red on it, I put a bit of food colouring in the water.... no hyper chickens yet so I think I'm OK. They took it almost immediately, with no "training" or anything... smart chickens. The next refill will not have red food colouring in it. I also put in about 1/4 cup of ACV and it seems to be keeping things in good shape. Here are a couple of pics, including one of Vesper and Dayglow using the waterer.[/FONT]
