We started our chicken adventure by converting a storage shed in the back yard into a chicken coop. Step one was to clean out the shed. 21 spider bites later, I had a clean shed and a whole new appreciation for benadryl. The exterior of the shed stayed pretty much as it was. I added a wire door to the front to allow breezes to flow through. I will be adding a solid door when colder weather sets in. I added a window and a pop door to the back of the building.
