Well written article and great instructions! I'm thinking of trying one of these - reason- feed around my currant feeders drawing rats.... I steep my feed, but I think this design may allow for that!

I followed this thread. Like many threads on here, I learned so much. Supportive care is often the only real option left with our feathered friends, and here you have shown how it's done. Well done! And thank you, very much, for documenting it and therefore spreading the 'know how' of what to do when we run out of options.

This article helped save three of my vulnerable rescue hens in their first month with me. I refer people to it over and over, and have only thought to rate it!! Thank you very much!
