You have such an entertaining writing style!

I wish I would have thought of this when I was trying to make a soupy mash for sick birds over the years. Would have been a lot easier than hitting the pellets with a hammer :D!

Right?? $20 well spent, in my book. Thanks for the kind review. :-)
Great article summarizing the benefits of raising ducks. I love ducks and would absolutely choose them over chickens - they've almost no pecking order and are just so cute!

This gives a nice list of toys for your quail, but pictures of them using the toys would improve the article.

Seems like a good idea for keeping your water dish from freezing! With the new system, do you still have to wrap the container in heat tape?

No, the heat tape under the container is warming it as well. Our nights are mid-to-upper 20's now and it stays liquid.

Nice start to a coop, but unfortunately never finished.
This appears to be an attractive, well-made coop, though it would be nice to have a more detailed description of the building process. I like the matching brooder!

Nice article explaining why (Embden) geese are underrated, though it would be helpful to know more about their dietary and temperature requirements.

They mostly eat grass and some grain (I make my own homemade grain mix, it's pretty easy) and they are very hardy surviving (pretty comfortably) in -30 weather.

Informative article explaining goose behaviour! I've always wondered what certain actions mean, and this was very helpful.

Good article for beginners who wouldn't know where to start! I especially like that you added your personal experience :).
Only thing I'd suggest is adding more breeds in the meat and egg-layer categories.
I knew nothing about neem oil before reading this article, so I'm glad I've learned there's two kinds and they react differently.
However, it would be nice if the title more accurately described the article, as the end result was to use Elector PSP anyway.

This succinct article does a good job explaining why some hens have or develop the characteristics of a rooster.

This looks like a nice coop and a good use of an old playhouse, but probably shouldn't be housing more than four hens.

The article started off very interesting and well-written, but then dropped off. Perhaps OP didn't realize they posted their draft? This looks like a nice coop but plans/and more pictures of the build would be nice!

Article gives an idea of how to use repurposed fencing but doesn't show any of the design or build process.

This is a well written article that explains the relationship between calcium and phosphorus.

I’m ashamed to admit I have just learned from reading this that phosphorus is as important as calcium, and that it is found in meat.

Interesting article :)

I have a completely open-air coop too, and have been trying to find an efficient way to keep out bad weather. I really like your latch-and-rail idea. Thank you for sharing!

Oh I'm so glad that's helpful to you! I had a hard time finding a lot of examples of open air coops when I was building it, so I wanted to make sure I shared mine when it was ready!

Thank you for this article, which clearly explains how to put down a bird. I was worrying over the inevitable end of my pets and this is definitely going to be the way they leave the world when it is time. I already did something similar with my fish and it was way easier than decapitating him like some people suggested. It is calming to me that they are still in one piece at the end...
