The Coops- A never ending mess and forever on my to-do list

    Coop # 1

    The Fuster Cluck
(Yes I blatantly stole the name from the coop
    naming thread).

It is home to my Layers- a hodge podge mix
    of various breeds.

    Coop #2

a lean-to on the side of my soap shed that
    was built
in a hurry, because chicks were
    outgrowing their brooder.

It is the bachelor pad now.

    Coops
    #3 and #4

    My talented neighbor made
    this cute sign for us.

    The Duplex

Left side belongs to the Blue Rocks and
Right side houses a Lavender Ameraucana
    Project.

Like the majority of my buildings it is not
    completely finished yet.

    Coop # 5
    The half- house for Juveniles

    T
    Lavender Genetics

    lav X lav = 100% lav
    lav X black split = 50% lav, 50% splits
black split X black split = 50% splits, 25% lavs, 25% blacks * You will not be able to tell the blacks, from the splits.
    lav X black = 100% black splits
    black split X black - 100% blacks

    BBS/Andalusian Blue Genetics

Here are the outcomes when breeding BBS (AKA: Andalusian Blue).

    Blue X Blue = 50% Blue, 25% Black, 25% Splash
    Blue X Black = 50% Blue, 50% Black
    Blue X Splash = 50% Blue, 50% Splash
    Black X Black = 100% Black
    Black X Splash = 100% Blue
Splash X Splash = 100% Splash * breeding this way will dilute your splashes, and they will fade more with each subsequent breeding.

I love your coops! If I was a kid again, I would spend the day playing in coop #1. It looks so cheery and inviting.
