Butter Pound Cake

    Ingredients:


    2 c. butter
    6 eggs
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    3 c. cake flour

    Cooking Instructions


    Preheat oven to 325°. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add the flour and beat until just smooth-don't over beat. Bake in a bundt cake pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool before turning out onto plate.

    Note: This is a super easy recipe for a delicious pound cake. Makes a great cake for strawberry shortcake or for trifle.
