BYC – Supplemental knowledge for all things Chicken

All good points, especially the validation part. I can talk about nerdy chicken stuff on here as much as I want, but if I talk about it to my family, they kind of just nod and smile and don't really get it. I don't get how they don't know which of my fifteen hens laid which egg, but to each their own, I suppose.

Awesome and simple article on explaining this wonderful site! I know for me, just hanging out on BYC has given me more experience in chicken keeping from listening to other people try things and state the results. I may have never tried or even had thought of some of the things I've learned on here but I've stumbled across threads that educated me. Also, because of hanging around on BYC alone, I've been able to name my chickens' health issues faster and get help for them, just by learning what it was months before the issue occurred on BYC. This is really a great site to hangout on and learn. Thanks for posting this article.
