Cayuga Ducks - All You Need to Know

Love the information. Very well written. We have three, we believe two females and one male. The male is larger and has a very raspy voice now. The females 'honk' more. They are great. We free-range. They follow us around. They like to be where we are. They don't go far and come when we call them usually. They also put themselves to bed or can be easily led to their coop at night. They stay together as well which is good for their survivability. Glad we got them!
Wonderful informative, post. We are looking to raise some Cayuga's this coming spring! :) I am very excited. I can't wait to start raising ducks next as raising our Orpington Chickens has been such a fun, great adventure we believe adding to our homestead will bring us even more joy! Yay!
Very informative! We’re raising a Cayuga duckling and knowing the differences with this breed is super helpful! They’re so lovely and adorable!

An interesting duck breed to read about...I especially enjoyed learning the origin. The info about the eggs changing color was interesting too.
Very informative and will be helpful to the member asking about Cayugas. I shared this with them. Thank you.
