Chick Instructions on one page!

Great read these helpful hints for raising healthy chicks.
It gives a good insight in breeder thoughts, the necessity to consider the needs of young chicks before buying them and a few aspects on how to handle/raise chicks.
It does not point out all the stuff you need to raise young chicks and how to keep them warm.

Sound and clear advice for novice owners from an experienced person selling chicks to newbies.

Newbie here and I'm a fessin' up to being totally ignorant about this subject. THAT is why I joined BYC to learn and grow personally and learn how to raise healthy chickens to feed our family.

Simple, straightforward advice giving the reason behind each piece. It is easier to remember advice when you know why should or should not do something. Very helpful.

Very detailed but still easy to read.

Very good idea to have a thorough written note to go with the birds, both for the buyer and seller. People only remember half of what's been said to them, pen on paper is permanent.

Like Shad, I, too, find it hard to believe your article has not been reviewed more. Giving an instruction sheet is an excellent idea. And yours is an excellent tutorial. I am certain it helps more than hurts.

I'm not sure why this doesn't have more reviews. Maybe it was written before the current review system was put in place.
Just having an instruction sheet to give to the purchaser is a good idea. This sheet has some excellent advice, particularly regarding the handling of chicks and one should not expect 100% survival rate.
