2 cups Oats (I use quick cooking from bulk aisle)
½ cup chopped nuts (I like peanuts)
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup dried mealworms
½ cup raisins
Add and Mix
Add ½ cup coconut oil
Add ¼ cup Molasses
Stir Well
Add to silicone molds, muffin cup liners, or cookie sheet and parchment paper.
You can also poke holes in them with a straw at top and put string through to hang.
Scoop out with ice cream scoop if using parchment paper for ease of use.
I personally like molds. They are just fun, easy, and professional in appearance.
They also hold up well in freezer through the winter providing the necessary proteins and healthy shine for your chickens feathers.
Bake at 325 for 20 minutes. Cool. Store in freezer in ziplock bag or airtight container.
