The Ameraucana Club only recognizes eight colors in the Ameraucana fowl. They are Black, Blue, Blue Wheaten, Brown Red, Buff, Silver, Wheaten and White. They may come in colors different from these because they possess the Blue gene but they are not recognized as a true Ameraucana color as of yet. Some of these including the Splash are used in breeding pens to produce the recognized colors. Visit the Ameraucana Club's website sometime to see a full description of the fowl and read about them. Remember that they are not the common Easter Eggers that are sold at hatcheries and so forth.
