I live on a beef cattle farm and when my dad was young he raised two chicks from a box. They lived their lives happily. When I got older we had chickens but I didn't do a lot with them. Now I love them!
My brother had a hen that he raised to be a falcon! She would fly onto his arm when he held it out and she would follow him everywhere. Sadly, she became sick and died. He was devastated but now he is training another. We just received a batch of chicks yesterday morning from Murray McMurray Hatchery.
