Dog Proof Brooder

Wish there was more information about how the brooder was built. The heat lamp being inside the brooder looks dangerous and chicks look crowded. Might work better with smaller chicks and a heat plate.

I like it! I would like to make one like this! A few more pictures would be nice and maybe a few more details, but its good!

Better pictures and more build details would make the article better

The wood along the bottom portion of the brooder is a good idea. While the chicks are little it should give them an added sense of security.
Did hearing but not seeing make your dog more or less interested?

Looks good but is the chicken wire tough enough to keep a determined dog out?
