I made an easy dog ice cream today. Very simple ingredients and preparation.
Ingredients:
2 bananas (blended/mushed)
1 tbsp pumpkin purée (*optional)
3 tbsp peanut butter (be sure it does not contain xylitol or any artificial sweeteners)
Approx 1 cup water (you could add goat milk instead)
Mix all ingredients in order (adding water only as needed) until you reach a watery paste-like consistency
Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners
Scoop 1-2tbs per portion
Pop in the freezer until frozen solid , allow 5-10 minutes of sitting out to make removing your puppy ice cream so much easier.
Unwrap them and pup them in a container/ziplock back and store in the freezer!
Of course, let your pup have a taste test
I’m sure these would make great flock treats as well!
Servings: Approximately 12 1.5 tbsp servings per batch
Give only as a treat in moderation!
