Breed Information, Comments, and Experience with breed:

This is my small flock of Dominique chickens. We live on five acres within the city limits of Oklahoma City. My birds are good foragers and Pac is a very protective rooster who has good instincts with regard to predators. I've lost a couple other birds to coyotes and hawks but none of my doms. They free range over our property all day, but have access to their coop. The hens lay eggs in the coop and they are shut inside at night. They range and roost with a few guineas we have for tick control.
