Delicat catfood bucket from Sam's Club made into a no waste feeder.
Details of interior of feed bucket.
Since these pics were done I have made the holes in the plastic bucket oblong to better fit the chicken's heads as they got bigger. The wooden insert holds about two plastic 1 pound coffee containers full of Start/Grow crumbles. That lasts my six Black-Sex-Links about 5 days.
The waterer is a closed sysem that holds about 1-1/2 gallons of water. It is made from 3" PVC.
The water is filled by laying it on it's side and filling with a garden hose. This amount of water lasts my Gang of Six about 4 days.
