Hollywood Florida Chicken Ordinance

This is not entirely accurate, it says however, the keeping of dogs and other small domestic animals as household pets shall be permitted within the city, but said household pets shall not be kept for breeding purposes. which means that chickens can be kept, if you are a white European, I know many white people in Hollywood that keep chickens, ducks, turkeys, quail etc in Hollywood. Also if you read more of the code you will see that there is a code on how to keep them.

92.04 Says that you cannot sell dyed chicks and ducklings or chicks and ducklings under 6 weeks, so what about over 6 weeks?

(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, offer for sale, barter or give away baby chickens or ducklings under six weeks of age, or rabbits under two months of age, as pets, toys, premiums or novelties; provided, however, that this section shall not be construed to prohibit the sale or display of such baby chickens, ducklings, or rabbits in proper facilities by breeders or stores engaged in the business of selling them to be raised for commercial purposes.

(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to dye or artificially color or cause to be dyed or artificially colored in the city, any rabbit or other animal, baby chicken, duckling, or other fowl, or to bring or transport the same into the city so dyed or artificially colored.

(C) It shall be unlawful for any person to possess, offer for sale, sell, barter or give away, within the city, any dyed or artificially colored rabbit or other animal, baby chicken, duckling, or other fowl.

Also the penalty for all fowl violations is in the ordinance 92.99 which says the maximum fine is $100. That has been upheld by judge Towbin-Singer and when the city appealed to the 4th DCA they also upheld that ruling.
