I usually use the information in this post as my guidelines but learned some interesting things with my last batch(es). Found five guinea eggs and decided to put them in the incubator (automatic turner) with the settings mentioned above. Lower humidity to start (40-50%) and 26 days. Two weeks later we found three more eggs and decided to put it in with the first batch as a test. On day 23 we removed the turner and upped the humidity to 85%. At 26 days 1 guinea hatched from the first batch. The other four did not. That meant that the next batch of three had no turning for 3 to 4 days and humidity of 85 in the middle of the hatching time. After we took out the hatched keet and four bad eggs, I let the humidity drop to 65% and turned the three eggs by hand (when I remembered!). Yesterday (two weeks after the first batch) ALL three eggs hatched successfully. I was doing this as a test and did not expect any success, so we are very happy and surprised. Still not quite sure what to make of it...
