Integrating Chickens, Step By Step

I'm wondering how this works if you only have one rooster to introduce to the flock of 6. My EE I thought she would be better to introduce than the other girls but she went after him to the point that he was hiding under the front of the coop and his head was in first. He's a silkie rooster so I am concerned about the other all the other girls because they are much more aggressive than my EE. I did enjoy reading this article and it will help me with getting more chickens. Thank you for sharing.
A simple article explaining how to do the See-No-Touch method. It might be helpful to include approximately how long each step takes for the originals to get used to the newbies.

I read this article before integrating my bantams into my standards ex-batts flock and it didn't prevent things from turning into hell. All the points mentioned are useful, but they are not enough if things go wrong. My number one advice would be to choose wisely at which time of year you integrate it can be very complicated if there is only one place to shelter from rain, snow or storms, even with separations.
If I ever write an article one day it I'll be on the lessons I took from our integration disaster.
Nice read on intergrating chickens.
