Large Chicken Brooder

More build details, pictures of the building process, and a list of materials used would improve this article.
Adding a materials list, build details and photos, and other information would help.
Nice brooder!

The article would be better with a materials list and more build details including instructions
The brooder is very nice and looks spacious. It would be great to see plans, materials used, and in progress pictures added to the article. I would also tow that using chicken wire can be a safety concern in little chicks. They can fit their little heads in it and get hung up.

Thank you for the comment. This is the first thing my husband and I had ever built and I based it on some of the plans that I found in here. I agree with you on the chicken wire. I don't think I would use it again as they did stick their heads thru and I was worried about that. Luckily we didn't have any issues. I used this brooder until they were about 5-6 weeks old and then we finished our coop and they moved out. I had 17 and I think it was a bit crowded by the time we moved them. They definitely could not have stayed in it much longer. Unfortunately I didn't do a very good job of capturing the materials but I did better on the coop. I am planning to post that along with the materials we used as much as I can.
