What a different little cochin! Smaller than the others, slower to develop.... with a pointy tail and different body shape. Does NOT enjoy dust bathes or snuggling with the other girls.
Never a peep, but squeeks from this one, it also whistles now instead of cluck or glurg like the others.
So affectionate and funny, wags his tail often like a dog! Mostly gentle, unless being jealous of attention and get bossy when he cant get into your lap for loving snuggles.
We are new to chickens and are sure hoping he's just a wierd pullet and not a roo.
Meeko at 4 months old is not a roo and we are so glad we get to keep " him" weird and all
