Michael's Coop:
After noticing that his new chickens were laying eggs anywhere they could find a nice dark place, Michael realized it was time to build a coop.
The design was based on what he observed when a shed company came to build a storage shed for him. Built like a tiny house, this coop uses a framed door and dual pane vinyl windows (used as models from a window manufacturer). In the last picture you'll see a big door for people and a smaller door to the bottom right for the 5 hens.
Update: 3 years after building this coop Michael had to move. The coop was built so well that it weighed a ton and couldn't be disassembled. He left it behind and the new owners love their top of the line storage shed.
Thanks!
