I bought a cheap shed kit on sale (7 1/2' x 12') from Costco and they have names of carpenters that you can hire to assemble it. I had to buy 3 bundles of roofing shingles. The carpenter suggested I put linoleum down since chicken poop will ruin the pressed wood floor. I bought a remnant of very nice linoleum at a carpet remnant store, and first put a layer of plywood on top of the pressed wood floor, then the linoleum. I put pink fiberglass insulation in between the wall studs and ceiling joists and covered all sides and ceiling with plywood. I also covered both air vents with 1/2" hardware cloth. Home Depot sells these corner blocks that you can use to build a raised bed so I made a run that is 9x18 and 2 feet high with a 4' high section in the center that I put PVC in half hoops so it looks like a covered wagon, and covered the entire run with 1/2" hardware cloth. It's really solid and they can get up on perches in the hoop area to look out.
What I would do differently is put either 1/4" or 1/2" hardware cloth on the floor of the run because a rat burrowed into the run and I saw some of the chicken's food (half an apple) in the rat hole that's out in the run. Today the rat chewed an electric wire near the coop, shorted it out and I don't have power to my garage door or to my freezer in the garage.
