For all my life I have had chickens.. All types of colors and sizes, But recently I've been eyeing some other animals I've wanting to add to my flock and so.. My dad and brother went and bought me 6 ducklings as a surprise. 5 turned out to be drakes and 1 turned out to be a hen.. What luck right? So after having them for about 7 months I went and got rid of 3 drakes thinking that was enough.. Boy was I wrong! So lets skip 2 years of having the worst hen to drake ratio ever.. I now have 20 ducks... 12 hens, 2 Cayugas, 2 Buffs, 2 Rouens, 5 Khakis, and 1 Welsh.
2 Drakes, A pekin and a Khaki campbell. I also had just went and bought 6 Grey call ducks. 2 drakes and 4 hens.. Now 20 ducks may sound like a lot to some, but to me? It's not enough.. Duck math is a very serious thing and it will drive you mad..(It at least drove me mad) You just have to keep adding to your flock! *Sighs* For now though this will have to do until I get a larger duck coop. So instead of craving for more ducks I've decided to make this to keep me from buying more ducks.. For all of you duck lovers and non-duck lovers.. I hope you enjoy my beautiful ducks!
