This small coop was purchased 6 years ago at the beginning of my chicken keeping adventures.
It houses two to three standard size Wyandotte chickens, which is enough to keep two people in more eggs than we can eat.
This coop is very well designed. You can access it all, cleaning it is easy, catching chickens in it is easy, egg gathering is easy, and it can be lifted by two people to deep clean the run part or leave the coop in place - still easy to clean the run.

It's made in China, bought on line through a local feed store (about $200) and was delivered in panels in a flat box. 4 panels for the coop, three for the run and 4 for the roof. The pieces fit together perfectly. In the assembly instructions they advised several coats of polyurethane which I did to each panel before putting it all together. This was the secret ingredient. The coop lasted 5 years through all kinds of weather before the worms started working on the bottom pieces of wood and legs. I shored it up for another year and dedicated some time this year to replacing rotted wood, putting on a new roof, and giving it fresh paint and polyurethane. It looks like new. I expect it to last several more years.

If you look at reviews for cheap coops you will see many say it did not last very long. I'm guessing they did not do the polyurethane part. I bought a larger handmade coop and I made a coop myself, but my favorite coop is still this little cheap one. These photos were taken this week with the coop fully restored.
