I never knew there were so many varieties of finches. We have the wild ones here, but I wish I knew what I had as "pets" about 30 years ago. I had about 8 of them and they would sing so pretty every time we ran the vacuum cleaner. 
I loved reading about the different types. Maybe someday I'l get them again. I still have their giant cage out in the garage. Thanks for the great information!

Thanks for the five stars!!! Im still trying to get good photos of a few other types I have and honestly I have no way to explain why they would sing to the vacuum! That's so weird to me! Mine always chirp in the morning and I love seeing them flying around! If you ever do get some and have questions I will be happy to help!
