Turning a bunk bed into a brooder!

More build details and a list of materials used would improve this article.
I love recycled animal pen/housing anything. Great job creating this little haven for your chicks and baby fowl. Would like to see a shot of the whole thing top to bottom (to see the roof and ground clearance). Great job on your project!

Sound idea, but I would like to see more details about how the wire was securely fastened to the metal tubes of the bedframe and how the plywood (Cardboard? Chipboard?) was secured to the frame, the wire, and the other pieces.

Also, it seems to be located outdoors, but what is keeping rain out? There is no info about weatherproofing the roof and no awnings or overhangs.
I love it!

I like the concept but would love to better understand the process of turning the old bunk beds into a brooder.

Great idea.
No description on exactly what was done to the bunk bed in order to turn it into a brooder.

Pictures are a good way of seeing the gist of the brooder.
