"You can take the girl off the farm but you can't take the farm out of the girl." (My mini-barn)

Gorgeous coop! I love how you used reclaimed pieces of wood for the majority of it.
This is one my super fav!! I'm inspired by it add "up" instead of out since I'm constantly expanding my own coop. It'd be so fun if you checked into BYC sometime to show how it's held up.
So beautiful! What a joy it must be to look out to this or swing on the front porch!
Everything about this is absolutely perfect, especially for me. I have to add a run on the back of my shed/coop and it will be ready for babies. Love all the features. You have given us all great ideas! Could I borrow your husband for the work?? Just kidding. He is very talented and you are just as crafty. Thank you for this article!
Those old barn boards can't have been easy to work with but the end result shows it was worth the trouble...beautiful coop!
Thank you for sharing your very interesting story and photos of building your lavishly beautiful coop and run!
Wow, the tongue in groove floor boards and siding are incredible. That must have been really difficult to salvage. I hope you never move from this house. The thought of tearing down our barn is not imaginable to me, but you made something beautiful with the wood and that's priceless. Thank you also for mentioning the importance of zoning and permits, especially with close neighbors.
