Hi... I'm in Eloy! I never thought I would actually see anyone else from here! You put Yuma also, do you have homes in both places?

Golden Valley, just outside of Kingman, not real close to either of you, but I seldom see Arizona posts so I thought I would join in.
 
I grew up in Yuma. My Mom still lives there. I am in Portland Oregon now for the last 15 years, ( to the day tomorrow) I loved Yuma, I love the desert, Portland is a bit wetter

I'm in Phoenix, so I'm an hour away (from Eloy), but it's still the same temperature!

I live in Glendale just down from Pratts. I want to get my babies but am not sure if the time is right. I sort of think it's good because they would have time to fully grow before they it gets cold. Is there any place other than Pratts to buy chickens locally?
 
Does Pratt's sell chicks this time of year? Most places stop until fall. I am trying my had at hatching out some eggs that I picked up from neighbors. After hearing all the sad things that happen during shipping, I decided to pick some up locally. I really don't care if they are mutts! Sometimes those are the prettiest ones!

I, too am surprised to see so many people from AZ on here. Hola to you all!!!
