Been working NON-STOP for 3 days, putting in 12 - 16 hour days and I JUST FINISHED my mom's quilt, so she'll have it tonight for Christmas! YAY!!!!!!

Here it is - I'm pretty darn proud of it (it looks a little crooked, but its not, its just the way its layed out on the floor because I was trying to get it all in the photo). Its backed by white/cream colored flannel and measures 100 X 70 inches.

I hope she loves it as much as I do!

My Mom has quilted for years, so I have an idea how much work that takes.

Wow, it turned out great! You mom will be so touched by your labor of love, especially with the sentimental value behind the fabrics you used for the quilt! Great job!

That is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L and I am pretty sure that your Mom loves it already. You did a wonderful job. I know what you mean by all the hours put into a piece.

You really outdone yourself. Give yourself a treat for the accomplishment.

Congrats on your first completed quilt. Make sure you take a pic and get it printed and keep it in an album.
