I am thinking of getting a brahma trying to pick color leaning toward dark or black. But not set in stone.
Anyone want to post pictures please
 
I'm at work now but can try later tonight or tomorrow to see what I have for pics of my gals. I have light, buff and dark brahmas.

I will say that the pics of a dark brahma hen do not do them justice. I had found pics of them to be very boring but wanted a dark roo so bought eggs. When they hatched I got my wish all cockerels with the exception of one pullet. Now I wish it had been the reverse. The pattern of the feathering is in my opinion very very striking and it is a beautiful bird. Pics just don't do them justice.

I will try to dig thru pics and post or try to take some to post.

I haven't any photos because I only have one Brahma mix hen and she is a wonderful pet.
I do however, have an order in for 10 buff Brahma pullets. I can't wait. I never thought I would want Brahmas but those buffs are just too pretty. I'm partial to that color anyhow.
I needed another breed. I obviously didn't have enough!

I have very few pictures of my dark hens it seems; even though one of my two favorite hens is a dark brahma (Lil' Bit). The pictures don't do any of them justice. I think it's because I'm a lousey photographer. They were around 6 months old when these pics were taken.
