"Cat" is a very nice BYC member from Ireland that has a black hen that we initially thought was a black brahma. After some investigating she found out that her black brahma hen had a traveling salesman for a Dad. I believe Dad was a Orp.

Have you found a source for black brahmas here in the states? I know they are more common overseas.

Are there blacks available in the states ??? I know feathersite has some awesome colors shown but to my knowledge they aren't here in the states....

I don't know I just wanted black hen and love the look of brahma's my pocket full of poultry book listed black as a color for them

I was just at the big stockton show and saw a lot of black brahmas. But they might have all been bantams, I can't remember if I saw them in standard for sure.
