Ha, you are mighty brave to be sticking your hand in that Mama hen's nest LOL!!!! I can't believe she let you that close without bloodshed.

Ours are all hand raised, the hens only leave bruises. They fade after awhile.... Sometimes people at work do ask though "Steve, why are you always bruised and stratched up" I blame it on Sharon - the other S in SandS Poultry, I tell them she has a mean streak

How high can midget white three months old fly? I would like to take a pic of them in the grass but I'm afraid they will take off. I don't want to cut their wings! Maybe I can just tie a piece of string to them and hobble them together for a group shot.

How skittish are they? they can fly pretty good by the size of them, you could let them out against a fence and herd them back in if needed. Nice Midgets either way.

Hey the BC's in the background look familer

What a treat thank you! Those were great! I like to come to the turkey forum specifically in the hopes of seeing some turkey pics, I was not disappointed this time!

I loves turkeys, yours are beautiful!

Early April (like the angle of the sunlight in the evenings that time of year - good for `shooting' turkeys)
