I finally decided to make my own feeder for my two hens that where just having a field day every time I would feed them sending food EVERYWHERE. So a lot of reading and getting ideas from my friend here at BYC and I came up with two feeders one with the laying feed and the other with oyster shell " free of choice " and this is what I came up with. Need to also add one for the scratch.

Oooo I need to make one of these!! Going to Lowe's tomorrow anyway. Do you need that sticky stuff for pvc? (I've never worked with it, just seen others.)

putting the pipes together I did not use sticky stuff for pvc's just jammed them in and there pretty tight.

Here are other photo's of the feeder..

Here is the feeders.
