Well i am certain that about 7/8 of my 15 chicks are pullets but about 2 or 3 i am not so sure about... Check em out and tell me what you think! These birds are about +1 month old.
First off my EE mix chick. Notice his/her comb is very flat and wide but not red at all. This chicks comb is probably the least red out of all of them. He/she is also the slowest and growing feathers. (the chicks comb isnt that red at all in real life)

And now my other EE chick who was the first chick to hatch. I am really hoping this one is a pullet as this chick is STUNNING she/he almost looks like a blue laced red chick. Notice this chick has a taller redder comb but it isnt wide at all and is not the tallest comb.

The 2nd one (your BLR) is definitely a boy - I tend to think the first one is too, but would need to see it again in a couple of weeks to be sure (easier to sex once they get all their feathers in).

I am hoping at least one of my EEs are female, thats pretty much the only reason why i wanted to hatch out EEs was to get colored eggs. I am hoping that my OEGB/EE/? that has a straight comb and is definatly a female will lay blue eggs.

The 2nd chick acts and his/her body look more like a pullets minus his/her comb. Is comb redness always a sign of being a roo or pullet? The 1st chick actually has a more thicker body.
