After our first lady just did not lay the egg and we had to help it out earlier today, I went to Google to find the answer as I was not finding it here. Sorry if this has been posted before.
I found it quite an educational thing to know how the hen lays and how fast it is. Pretty quick. It has basic comic drawings and no icky detail.
(totally clean and not graphic (as in child safe ratings). I will show my boys ages 5 & 7)
