i just got one of these and it is AWESOME!
no more dirty water and no more lifting or carrying water.it comes in 5 gallons and 2 gallons.it has 2 holes in the top big enough for a water hose and the other is for you to check the level.it does not leak which was a big concern of mine.it has red and metal nipples which gets their attention.my chickens picked it up the first day.all you need is somewhere to hang it(it is heavy) and you only have to take it down to clean it .just make sure it can't fall or break the rope.
they were made for wildlife game-turkeys
these are not mine and i don't get anything out of it,just wanted to share it.
$18.00 for 5 gallons-not sure about shipping $$

I made my own some months ago. 3 poultry nipples installed in the bottom of a free, 5 gallon frosting bucket picked up from the grocery store bakery. Just had to order the nipples and then install them in the bottom of the bucket.

It rests on an upturned concrete block.

Also made a 1 gallon sized one, with one nipple, for use inside the 'grow out' pen.

Also made another using a 5 gallon bucket and some PVC pipe with the nipples installed in the pipe.

yeah,i found out where i could order the nipples but sometimes for people it is alot easier to get it ready to go.i thought that was a good price since the founts and other 5 gallon waterers at stores cost around $35-$38 and some of them don't hang or you have to take them down to fill them.so this would be at the most $28 shipped.

This looks very easy to make. I think I will make a couple of these for my meaties when they arrive, next week.
