Today marks the day when construction begins on our coop. The deminsions will be 12x10 in size. Here are a few picks to start off with...........

Our day began when Dad went to finish some work in the garden at 7 am this morning

and after that a friend showed up out of the blue and helped us pick up some lumber so we went to scrounge in the lumber yard to see what we could find.

Then, of course, the rain came, again. My husabnd and I are going to work again on it come Wednesday. He is going to take a day off of work so we can possibly get more work done. I will keep you posted with new pics.

Looks like an awesome start! I bet you can't wait till it's done! Keep us posted with the cool pics!

I hear you! We're working on a coop and run, and getting the right time combined with the right weather is tricky! Thanks for sharing, and that reminds me- I must get some pics of today's work in the run...

Looks good so far. The weather has been unreasonable lately for sure. I have had snow for the past two days.
