This is my first time hatching out duck eggs and I have 3 call and 9 runner duck eggs. Today is day 27 and I got my first pip around 1:00 pm today. It's been 9 hours and nothing since. Should I be concerned? Maybe I just need something to hatch to confirm that I did everything right. Any way I'll keep yall posted and hopefully with pics
 
My Runners usualy take 24 hours between first pip and unzip. It can be longer at times - and then once they start to unzip it - it can be anywhere from just 10 miutes or so to a few hours untl they imerge from the egg.

I have read that calls can have issues hatching due to the short length of their bills.

My first khaki campbell/runner X took almost 3 days from pip to hatch. Started to pip on a Monday evening and didnt hatch til Wednesday afternoon. Didnt even make much progress til Wednesday morning. And she is doing great.
