I hate buffalo gnats. They are kiling all my chicks

Ive lost 3 chicks in a day.

Is there a way to kill them? or at least make them go away?
 
I'm sorry you lost your chicks. I have seen several posts on buffalo gnats the last couple of days. Some say a dab of pure vanilla extract on their heads will help repel them. Someone else said a fan will keep them from swarming. I'm so glad we don't do not have them here...they sound like nasty little things.

Try Equisect fly repellant for horses, it's natural, smells good and you also spray their pen. I get mine at the feedstore and use it on myself too as there is no nerve agent in it. The only toxic warning is regarding fish --- good luck with the gnats
